The insurance cover includes liability claims arising from activities with a foreign element. Excluded are, in particular, legal activities before courts in the USA and Canada, legal activities in connection with advising on or dealing with the law of the USA and Canada, as well as activities carried out through law firms or offices established or maintained in other countries.

For notarial activities, the restrictions provided for in the insurance terms and conditions apply to activities in connection with advising on the law of the United States of America, including the law of its individual states, and the law of Canada.
